Michael Gulizio, DMD, MS, MSEd, MSciDent
Dr. Gulizio is a prosthodontist, the dental specialty responsible for rebuilding the mouth as a functioning whole: teeth, bite, jaw joints and the structures that support them. Born in Brooklyn and educated at the University of Pennsylvania, he returned to New York to practice and has spent his career working where dentistry meets the rest of medicine.
For several years he served as Program Director of the Advanced Esthetics and Occlusion Program at NYU, training dentists from around the world in veneers and occlusion. His clinical focus spans complex restorative and implant care, TMJ and orofacial pain, the airway and sleep, and the growing evidence linking oral health to cardiovascular, metabolic and neurological disease.
